“The They/Them premiere was hands down one of the best theater experiences I’ve had in my life” - Attendee

We traveled coast to coast to produce two premieres for Peacock’s first original film, THEY/THEM

Peacock partnered with IHC to premiere their debut Peacock Original film, They/Them in Los Angeles and New York City. Both film screenings included packed red carpets with the full cast, curated programming, live music and premium after parties with special in-world touches.

Los Angeles - Outfest Festival

For its premiere, They/Them was chosen to close out the 40th year of Outfest LA Film Festival at The Ace Hotel, to a full house of 868 total guests. IHC brought the screening to life with a 80’ red carpet and press line for the film’s talent, a themed photo moment, in-world decor and staff uniforms, plus a curated F&B menu. Additionally, guests were treated to a surprise performance from Perfume Genius ahead of the screening.

Details and After Party

Little touches throughout the venue brought the event to life, from branded concessions to a custom program designed specifically for the evening.

Afterwards, the cast and Peacock VIPs celebrated at a private post reception on the Rooftop, with custom decor and vibes set by DJ Amanda Williams. IHC adorned the Theatre and Rooftop at the Ace Hotel with subtle touches that resembled the film’s woodsy setting while keeping the aesthetic elevated.

New York

We then flew across the country to New York City to produce a screening for cultural influencers, horror fans and select press just two days later.

We enlisted the help of Impact to secure a total of 150 guests in attendance alongside the film talent; notable names included Jaboukie Young-White, Milly, Shapiro, Will Weinbach and Valentina Sampaio as well as reporters from GMA, Buzzfeed and PopSugar.

Venue Transformation

The New York venue provided us with a blank slate, which we transformed with warm lighting, key props from the set, and woodsy floral decor which included a 10 foot fabricated tree that provided a hero moment for the Peacock logo. Other touches included a 25’ step & repeat, in-world staff uniforms and title moments.

After the screening, the celebrations were in full swing with a custom photo booth, passed hors d'oeuvres, custom cocktails and DJ Erol Sabadosh on the 1s and 2s.
