IHC produced the Oczy Mlody record release party for The Flaming Lips, which doubled as Wayne Coyne’s birthday party.

This special event was part of the Beats By Dre’s series ‘Beats Presents', that create experiential happenings around new album releases. Taking place at Mack Sennett Studios in Los Angeles, IHC worked directly with the band to create an experience that encapsulated their latest record. The audience entered the colorfully lit building through a rainbow pathway that set the course through the space.

ATMOSPHERE & PROGRAMMING

Guests were invited to capture the night with a plushy moped themed animated photo booth. Additionally, we set up a black light marble body painting station and a positive torture bondage chamber complete with dominatrix to spice up the evening. The Beats by Dre listening lounge invited guests to dance in front of the 16ft tall DJ castle adorned with unicorns custom-made for the event. To top it off, The Flaming Lips themselves provided their stage props to decorate the space.

In a true collaboration between talent, agency, and brand this one-of-a-kind party featured the magic and spectacle of a fully immersive Flaming Lips live show. Celebrity attendees included Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Elijah Wood, Moby, Shepard Fairey, and many more along with a DJ sets from Pennywild and the Flaming Lips themselves.
