Supergirl arrived with a message of her own, creating a media moment around her introduction and taking over the Artspace at The Public Hotel in NYC to debut the trailer. Surrounded by a themed atmosphere and programming, we showcased the out-of-this-world intergalactic adventure that is Supergirl.
Hosted by James Gunn, Milly Alcock, and Craig Gilespie, the night offered an exclusive first look at the latest release from DC Studios, but done in a way to set the stage for her era.
Guests entered through branded glowing red rubber curtains, flowing into a neon stairwell highlighted by Supergirl's emblem on reflective mirrored walls. The space was styled with throw pillows, acrylic emblem centerpieces, and a blue Krypto dog bowl, offering a charming nod to the beloved sidekick. A title treatment photo wall featured a cosmic-blue backdrop with splatter texture, a 3D logo, and striking blue-and-red pulsing LED tube lights.

James Gunn introduced Craig Gillespie before the teaser trailer played twice, giving guests a second chance to catch every detail. They welcomed Supergirl, Milly Alcock, to the stage for a brief Q&A before transitioning to a casual party.

After the trailer premiere, guests stepped into a branded booth to rewatch it, record their reactions, and share the videos with their audiences after the event.
To directly tie back to the trailer, which featured Blondie’s “Call Me,” Tammy Faye Starlite took the stage immediately afterward with a Blondie cover band, delivering a 30-minute set of greatest hits. Between stage moments, a curated playlist inspired by Supergirl kept the energy high while guests danced and nightlife photographer Matt Weinberger captured the evening.
