IHC BROUGHT THE MULTIVERSE TO HOLLYWOOD WITH AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENTIAL PHOTO BOOTH.

We were given a challenge: create a red carpet photo experience that put Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ key talent inside a studio quality expression of the multiverse. The results? Halls of the Infinite, a fully enclosed bespoke photo opp that utilized hundreds of mirror pieces to create a visual spectacle and even cooler images.

Talent and influencers stepped into our reimagination of the multiverse and produced photos that were truly unique. Staged at the world premiere exclusively for the higher end guests, the activation created stunning images that were shared across Doctor Strange, Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment socials the next day, generating over 87.5M+ impressions.

LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET

Designed in-house, we created the “Halls of the Infinite,” giving guests a view into their fractured selves, reflecting back as many versions! Stark, gorgeous, and immersed in red, the booth added a wild and evocative experience to the high-profile World Premiere.

IHC tapped photographer Julian Buchan to capture incredible images of the film’s talent Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Rachel McAdams, and many more.

INFLUENCER GUESTS

Guests lined up to take part in the activity, creating a sensation on the carpet. In addition to the film’s talent, the Halls of the Infinite also hosted many influencer and celebrity guests, including bonus talent from across the MCU.

Some guests included Tiffany Haddish, Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk), Ginger Gonzaga (She-Hulk), Straw Hat Goofy, Nikkie De Jager, Alexandra Reid, Tim Chantarangsu, Peter Clarke and more.

BOOTH DESIGN

From render to reality, our custom design utilized hundreds of mirrors across 3 walls for a dramatized effect that reflected the many faces of the person inside back at them. Creative lighting and an enclosed environment on the red carpet made studio quality images achievable.

As an added benefit, the exterior of the booth ended up becoming almost equal as a hit on the carpet serving double duty as a photo opp itself. While not planned, this was a serendipitous bonus that made the activation that much more lively.
