Sometimes you surf Youtube and strike gold. This morning I woke up, grabbed some coffee, set my iTunes to random, and within a few minutes Holy Ghost’s “Hold on” came up. First off, I love this song. If you aren’t familiar, please allow me to help you:

That aside, you may understand why one would be in love with this band. The James Murphy produced, Brooklyn dwelling, DFA signed duo simply have it going on. After a pass at “Hold on” I pulled up YouTube to see maybe they have a video I haven’t seen or possibly some live footage. None, just a bunch of televangelists – three pages of televangelists. So after revising my search to “Holy Ghost DFA” I struck gold: a goddamn Holy Ghost Youtube channel! The channel hosts videos from a few different recording sessions, but the excerpt of James Murphy producing “Hold on” really caught my eye. Here are a few of my favorites:
