DEBAUCHERY, HARD and LOST

This last weekend had a lot of ups and downs for LA kiddos wanting to party... So many things there just needs to be a review!

For those of you who went to HARD fest and encountered riot police, shut down venue, and no music, here's what happened:

Obviously, the Forum was not the best location. Kids were jumping from the balcony to be on the main floor, then there was a bit of disputing with the security guys, the fire marshals showed up and to top it off the kids began to riot when they wanted their music back (which didn't help). All in all, they will refund money, but the experience is what many of us were looking forward to: good music and fun. Oh well, maybe in a few months. Comme toujours, in LA there is always another weekend with another party.

And speaking of another party, this weekend was also the launch of Lost in a Supermarket (LIAS), a site covering design, art, and fashion in blog/editorial format. Jim Mahfood was on site doing his thing drawing away and did I mention it was at Liberace's penthouse? All in all the site looks promising as far as design/art/fashion coverage for those looking for a little more than the mainstream.
