These kids wrote me an email this morning and something about it inspired me to check out their stuff. It's getting harder to do nowadays since SO MUCH stuff comes in and my time is becoming more slim wit all the traveling and label biz, but something abotuthsi one stuck out.

It's my honor to introduce LET'S GET INVISIBLE! This boy/girl duo are from Nowheresville, RHODE ISLAND, and claim to have been inspired by all the 80's resurgance acts going around right now (ala FUTURE COP, MINITEL ROSE, etc). But like a whole generation before them, the group of bands inspired by the 80's actually turned into the dance groups of the early 90's and this is what I'm hearing here. Their first few songs harken back to the magic of NENA CHERRY. Although you can hear them riding on their influences, these kids seemingly have what it takes lying underneath what could be viewed as a fairly typical hipster myspace page. The songs are great! Get them! Listen! If you're a label, sign 'em, our hands are full and they need one.
