Hey everyone! We dropped a bit off the horse lately, but we're jumpin' right back on! IHEARTCOMIX.COM is gonna be switching around the format a bit coming up and we think you guys are gonna be pretty stoked!

To start things off a bit, we decided that we'd take our yearly (and often legendary) jaunt down to COMICON INTERNATIONAL in SAN DIEGO public and present live blogs from us about all the crazy stuff we're doing and experiencing at the ultimate geek fest!

For those that don't know, COMICON is the largest comic book and pop culture convention in the world. Every year over 150,000 people attend everyday and not only comics biggest start, but Hollywood's biggest stars all come to show off their latest project, tv shows and movies. People dress up in all kinds of weird costumes and it is an event unlike any other on the planet!

Every year we make a pilgrimage down to COMICON to partake in all the wonderful and wild happenings. Whether it's sneaking backstage and hanging out with the cast and crew of SPIDER-MAN 3 as they debut Venom or it's playing dice with FRANK MILLER, we often do it all and come back with more than a few bucks in our pockets as well. In the past, we've typically just blogged about our experience through myspace or live journal after the fact, but this year they have wireless at COMICON, so we'll be bringing you all the action live!

Myself, TRAVIS and GREG from ACID GIRLS will be making the trek. That's three very different perspectives on the comic and niche worlds. GREG is actually a COMICON virgin!

Now, I know this may not be what would normally be expected from a typically music focused blog, but don't worry, we'll be posting our fave new cuts along with the posts. Here's a few to start us off!
