Yet another crazy weekend in LA for IHEARTCOMIX! Here's some photos and video from both.

First up was SAT night at THE NEW CHECK YO' PONYTAIL. We had THE COOL KIDS, MILLION DOLLAR MANO, HOLLYWOOD HOLT, MIC TERROR and 87 STICK UP KIDS. It was one of the craziest CHECK YO's yet! Completely sold out with a live around the block till close! Booya! Afterwards we headed over for an after party at our place. Photos and video below. Party number ywo wa another installment of STILL FUCKING AWESOME Mon night at Beauty Bar. This week's guests were THE TEENAGERS, HEARTSREVOLUTION and BROTHER READE. Yet another kick ass MON with tons of dancing and tons of friends stopping by. We ended up outside towards the end of the night to film some segments of IHEARTCOMIX TV and HOLLYWOOD HOLT, MIC TERROR and MILLION DOLLAR MANO dropped by to lay down some rhymes as well. Cant' wait to get that episode out.

This week is THE BLACK GHOSTS week in LOS ANGELES. They invade MONDAY and play practically every decent party and weekly in LA, included both of our events STILL FUCKING AWESOME (this MON with DJ ORGASMIC and TREASURE FINGERS) and THE NEW CHECK YO' PONYTAIL (on Sat Dec 15 with JAPANTHER, KLEVER, TITTSWORTH and IMA FUCKING GYMNIST). It's sure to be one hell of a whirlwind, both for them and the kids of LA.

A little background for those who don't know and are wondering, 'Who the hell are these BLACK GHOSTS guys'? Well, they hail from LONDON and they are comprised of SIMON LORD (formerly of a little band called SIMIAN, the one that went off to spawn SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO, which is the other guys from SIMAIN) and DJ TOUCHE from THE WISEGUYS. SIMON is the voice from the classic track, which was made famous from the remix by JUSTICE, 'WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS'. Yes ladies and gents, HE has arrived.

STILL FUCKING AWESOME is back MONDAY and beginning this week, we're gonna start really pushing this party to the limit. I'd like to welcome THE ZONDERS to the fold. These grand wizards of the graphic arts will be making each flyer from now on.

This week we have 2 local powerhouses coming together to form one awesome party... CLASSIXX (formerly YOUNG AMERICANS) and my roomate SKEET SKEET! This is gonna be one hellava party, plus.... we're gonna have a SECRET GUEST. dduuuudddeesss, you don't want to miss this!

It's another big week for STILL FUCKING AWESOME! We have another debut appearance this week of the UK's newest, hottest shit, TRONIK YOUTH!! This kid has been tearing up the dance floors for our brothers and sisters overseas, and now, courtesy of SO SWEET, he's gonna tear it up for y'all over here!

Joining him will be our great friend DEMONBABIES! he's the mastermind behind all of our rad video projections and made the MATT & KIM (FLOSSTRADAMUS REMIX) video. Now, he steps behind the tables.

To celebrate the debut of TRONIK YOUTH we have a never before released remix of his track 'WE ARE' by one of my personal favorites, PUNKS JUMP UP! Enjoy!

Another installment of STILL FUCKING AWESOME tonight! It's another goody. We have the debut LA live peformance of SUBTITLE's new project LAB WASTE! Plus, it's the after party for YOUNG LOVE and PRINCE TERRANCE (of YOUNG LOVE) will be doing a guest set as well! As always, we'll have FREE SPARKS from 10-11pm too!

Here's a couple tracks to tide you over till the festivities begin. The first is the original version of YOUNG LOVE's hit 'FIND A NEW WAY' from back when they were called AMMEX. I think this version is far superior to the released version. The second is a track from the unreleased THIS BLUSH record that may one day see the light of day on IHEARTCOMIX RECORDS. This track features guest vocals from SUBTITLE himself.
