To continue our daily updates from our COMICON adventure, here's 15 polaroids I took while at the con. This is a slightly more personal view of my 5 days in San Diego along with showing off some of my favorite Comic Book personalities I ran into.

It was such a compact week full of a lot of zani stuff that went on. Plenty more photos and videos to come!

So if you've been following IHEARTCOMIX the last couple of weeks and live in LA, then you probably know that we are teaming up with MEDIA CONTENDER and SMOG this FRIDAY to throw a bad ass party at the ECHOPLEX!

One thing that we just found out about this show is that our headliner, LOEFAH, has had to cancel his entire tour due to visa issues! Grrr! So, we're dropping the door price down to $5 and if you purchased a ticket, it's now valid for 2-FOR-1. KASTLE is still making his debut LA appearence and LOL BOYS and KNYPHY are still performing. Regardless, it's gonna be one hell of a dubstep ho down. See y'all on FRI!

Unfortunately, the visa acquisition process is never a black and white affair and as far as we can tell nothing points to why this would have happened in this case. Loefah is extremely disappointed and wants everyone to know he plans to reschedule the shows and return for a tour as soon as the appeal process and his schedule will permit. Friend, MATT CRIB out of SYDNEY, started a new band called HOT SPA. He sent me over their first demo and I was much impressed. It's chill out by the beach music, reminiscent of The Beach Boys, The Girls, a little Vampire Weekend, Archarde Fire, Los Campasinos, you get the idea. It make me feel good and it will you too. THERE'S A VIDEO TOO!!!!

Another year at COMICON has come and gone! 2010 was hands down the most packed, most overwhelming and craziest COMICON yet. The crowd was more, the advertisements were more, Hollywood was there in full force, there were countless parties, countless costumes and a nerd population so large that if a nuclear bomb exploded in SAN DIEGO last weekend there would be no one left to see the latest Superhero blockbuster. It was a total senses overload, but IHEARTCOMIX was still there and we still did the job we had to do: Be Awesome.

This year was the first year IHEARTCOMIX had a booth at COMICON, it was the first year we brought ANARCHIST BUNNY with us to cause havoc and it was the second year we threw a party. All seemed to work and we were able to bring our own unique feeling of entertainment to the COMICON mix.

Now, before we left to go down, I promised constant updates from the IHC crew. Well, unfortunately the internet was shit and we were all so busy, it became a very unrealistic thing. So, look out all this week for a series of updates, videos and photos recapping our crazy, crazy week in SAN DIEGO.

Here's the first of a batch of photos. These are photos that my friend LILLY BALL and I took as we roamed the COMICON floor and outskirts. We took turns dressing up in the bunny suit and generally throwing chaos into what was already a complete shit storm. Enjoy!

It's about that time of the year again: COMICON WEEK!

For the 8th year in a row, myself and the rest of the IHEARTCOMIX crew will be heading down to SAN DIEGO to partake in all the craziness that is COMICON. It's a week full of all things 'geeky', plus tons of cool parties, movie/tv stuff and wild costumes. It's sensory overload at it's finest and we're gonna be right in the thick of it!

Just like last year, IHEARTCOMIX will be throwing a huge COMICON PARTY at VOYEUR on SAT JULY 24th. This year the special guests are HOLY GHOST!, MIKE RELM and myself (FRANKI CHAN).

Also, for the first time IHEARTCOMIX will be having a booth on the COMICON floor. We're teaming up with our buddies over at DEVIL'S DUE and GRAPHICLY to pull this off.
